Update: both my US and UK publishers are sending cease and desist letters to the company behind the AI version of me, and demanding documentation on what was stolen.
I'm lucky to have this support. Not every creative person will. We need better laws in place to prevent exploitation.

I really appreciate the compassion she had, writing about the patients and war victims, giving enough details to understand the challenges and innovations without lingering unnecessarily
I'm releasing a book in October, and all I can think about is how this will be another thing that I put out into the world that will get scraped and stolen. Or maybe no one will read it because apparently no one reads anymore. Both scenarios are terrifying to an author. /2
