I sound crazy? Am I not making sense? Is this line of thinking not the default of the human brain??? I’m tripping??? I’m overreacting???

This is what makes even the most common mistakes issues stressful on a daily. Why am I talking you through it? Where’s your head? Where’s your problem solving? Your skills? Training? I’m leading the resolution once again. Pay me twice

You have triggered a lack of trust in your employee. Lay out the protocol so that they understand it. Give them a time frame. Make yourself seem empathetic to the situation by providing a sense of urgency and understanding. My God I don’t even work HR and I know this.
I’m fully in solve it fix it mode on my DAY OFF because YOU didn’t see the issue initially when I brought it up causing us to lose delicate time on the matter and now YOU are not telling me what steps we’re taking to resolve. “We’ll handle it” don’t tell me shit. I’ve seen your handling. It sucks
Y’all have fucked up sending out a paper check before and had a direct deposit to me SAME DAY. There is no reason for this when the issue has been communicated for over 24 hrs during a business week.
A man telling me he’s handling something ain’t never moved me beyond making me roll my eyes.
Folks be too worried about over communicating for me. A situation of a paycheck being late, you need to be saying as many words as possible that you are sure about to calm that person down. It’s called de-escalating.

My problem now is. You KNOW I’m missing my paycheck. Why do I keep having to ask follow up questions when you KNOW your initial lack of transparency triggered the issue. You should be able to provide me an ETA, a “here’s what we’re doing” YOU are HR. YOUR JOB is PEOPLE SKILLS

I mean at the very least you could have CC’ed me on the email so I can see what’s happening and I won’t have to micromanage you for the entire shift and can jump in if needed. I really hate thinking for people. It’s a pet peeve.

Then I’m over here trying to be professional in email form. It’s almost end of day I should have a follow up that doesn’t require me prompting one
