New Paper out! 🎉 doi.org/10.1038/s415... We used simultaneous MEG & LFP recordings to show that cortical networks provide temporal windows into subthalamic nucleus (STN) activity states in Parkinson's disease — with potential implications for diagnosis and therapy.
Out now as a preprint! We investigated the effect of outcome-uncertainty on learning and endogenous pain modulation in a probabilistic gambling task. Results show that pain inhibition from winning pain relief increases as a function of certainty in what action lead to the relief of pain.
Hurrah! New paper out doi.org/10.1093/brai...! We show that sensorimotor network dynamics are altered in Parkinson’s disease and highlight the importance of looking at motor cortical activity within the broader brain network context to better understand pathophysiological changes underlying PD.
It’s out! 📝🧠🎧 Our manuscript investigating auditory processing of Parkinson’s disease is online! Its results suggest a pathological effect of Parkinson’s disease on brain auditory processing which, in turn, is modulated by deep brain stimulation. Check it out: doi.org/10.1142/S012....
Kohl et al. report that sensorimotor network dynamics can distinguish patients with Parkinson’s disease from controls and highlight the importance of network context of motor cortical activations. buff.ly/489DYfB #Parkinsons

Our latest publication is now available in early access! Utilising our RSPP procedure and the N2pc, we trace covert switches between separate attentional templates in real time, revealing exactly when observers swap from one template to another. doi.org/10.1162/JOCN...

Really glad that my first paper is now out in @painthejournal.bsky.social 😁🧠!
I’m sure you’ve always wondered how reliable Granger causality of source reconstructed MEG really is. Better yet, you surely wonder how to improve it. You’re in luck, I’ve just arrived at @meguki2025.bsky.social to discuss it. All jokes aside, meet me at poster 38 if you’re interested. 👋🏼🧠

Check out our latest paper.. - A simple view of the ageing effect across the full spectrum and the whole head - Spectra of effect sizes - Covariates can change effect size - Replication! We hope this facilitates synthesis of results across a rich and varied literature of age effects #neuroskyence

Just arrived at @meguki2025.bsky.social excited to present results on head movement reduction in people with Parkinson‘s using individual head casts. Additionally we can replicate prior findings on laminar source reconstruction! If you want to find out more, do not hesitate to find me at poster 45!
