I watched this. It’s a short rundown of the (known) damage that has been done. I don’t think the full impact has been fully realized yet, but overall this was a really well done documentary. My heart is breaking for all those we lost and the resulting harm to us all

3/ that job? Then you have roughly 600 people to do the previous ORD work. What is getting cut? What contractors will be facing layoffs because they aren’t getting work anymore? Who picks up the slack to overcome this loss? Is it the states? Is it the private companies? This is a huge loss

Following the post on the heist documentary, related to EPA specifically: the loss of ORD which came up in the latest budget hearing, which I didn’t take full notes on. Roughly 1600 employees were in ORD. That’s down to less than 1000. Out of that number no definitive answers were
