Imagine if X was owned by Russia. Would politicians and anyone else not directly invested keep posting on it? No. What if we keep start treating Musk like a nation because once you consider his influence and wealth (larger than Malesia and Denmark combined) he definitely qualifies.

The continued use of X by this government is inexcusable.
I’m with Anna Dixon, Labour MP for Shipley @annadixonmp.bsky.social and The Bear @bearlypolitics.co.uk on this
Starmer’s statement on Monday telling the tech boys to ‘regulate or else’ isn’t a joke, it’s a disgrace. Putting the tech bros before children’s health, safety and sexual exploitation! Doesn’t he realise they’ve built algorithms to actually target vulnerable kids? @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social
Yes, The UK should ban Twitter as it is filled to the brim with neo nazis on there.
Absolutely it should have been. Government's inaction on this is inexcusable and, as I can only assume it's because they're scared of upsetting voters over 2 years out from the next GE, cowardly in the extreme.
Punish the techbrocrats !
The question we all should be asking is: WHY are #Labour doing nothing about the rise of the #FarRight, the propaganda from hellsites such as #X, the lies, disinformation & bias from our media & press, the citing of riots from the likes of #Farage & #Lowe.
Nothing, except empty, meaningless words.
Should X be banned?
Yes. And it should have happened in January when non-consensual sexual imagery proliferated on the site.
The government’s inaction on what is becoming increasingly a vehicle for violence and hate is appalling.
Much more needs to be done. And quickly.
Why governments should no longer be willing to ignore a platform architected for harm.
