She's an Eastern screech owl (Megascops asio) & Animal Ambassador with a big personality.

Here’s the prayer for Juneteenth that I’ve included in my prayer book. Today’s the day we celebrate in honor of that day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure all enslaved people were freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
