It's Pride Month and we continue to encourage people from all backgrounds to get involved in #OurFutureHealth. It's important for all communities to be represented in health research and we’re proud that our cohort represents the LGBTQ+ community across the UK.
Our latest data release enables researchers to study new genetic ancestry data from over 750,000 volunteers, more than any other research programme. Read about the new data and how #OurFutureHealth can help your research into disease prevention, detection and treatment. 🧪
We’re collecting health information from up to 5 million volunteers like Demi, so researchers can study diseases that have been underrepresented in past health research programmes. Demi shares what she wants to see from #OurFutureHealth.
Dr Katie Marwick is one of the first researchers to study our volunteers’ data. She shares why #OurFutureHealth is so valuable for her research into women’s mental health and reproductive changes like the menopause.
Researcher Hannah is studying data from #OurFutureHealth volunteers to make new discoveries to prevent, detect and treat cardiovascular diseases - which include high blood pressure, heart failure and stroke.
