I tend to be an underwriter on the first draft and then flesh things out and add more layers of detail as I go over the draft and revise. That's where all the fun happens!

Although I’ve been very productive, I’ve been having a pretty rough week on the mental health front. I try to only post positively on social media in general, but I’ve been struggling. Sometimes it just feels like I’m shouting into a void and that nobody cares.

My two year old daughter is asking for ice cream for dinner and melting down when it is denied. I explain that she is performing a stereotypical toddler action, playing the trope extremely straight, and I wish she would be more creative. This does not help end the tantrum
