he stopped for a moment to gander at the statue. that was somewhat unfamiliar to him. quickly shaking his head as they address him. taking seat right next to them.
" a little uneasy, nothing i can't shake off though. "
it's a weird from of nostalgia. not one he'd rather return to. but if it's something that can provide comfort for them. he can tolerate anything.
lightly dragging behind. his gaze more or less remains on them the whole time.
leaning his head slightly to rest his head on theirs, the same way they would on his shoulder.
" whatever helps. i'm with you, so nothing could shake me too much. "
coiling digits around theirs, then resting hands between the two.
" mm.. "
he gently clutches their hand in return. keeping the same warm gaze as they glance up at him.
with a gentle tug, he quietly guides them onwards.
he lets the silence sit for a moment. it's probably best not to push further. they seem to already be on the edge of breaking into something else again.
" .. that's fine, too.
anywhere you'd like? "
" i wouldn't mind. "
shrug.
" wolves are cool. "
" not sure what you're implying.. "
slight brow raise. letting out a disgruntled hum.
" i'd say i just didn't have anything to lose before i met you. "

poking their nose.
" you'd still be a little sheep to me. "

leaning to place a smooch on their forehead. he wasn't expecting an immediate answer, or one at all. but can't say he didn't try. reaching out to gently grasp their hands.
