Steve Reed turned the wind machine on but he didn't stop us speaking to residents in St Leonard's about the Greens saving the local dementia day centre (while Labour and the Lib Dems just hiked their own pay)
Don't let Labour sneak back in! We need your help canvassing in Lambeth's crucial by-elections. Can you join us this week? You can RSVP at lambeth.greenparty.org.uk/events/ or just turn up!
Greens are ready to win the by-election in Clapham Park! Incredible response from residents who are so excited to have a Green councillor for the first time
The cats in Streatham St Leonard's are coming out for the Green Party!! @lambethgreenparty.bsky.social
🎯Bang on, and Labour is paving the way.
Its toolkit for tyrants includes: mass live facial recognition, digital ID, restriction of jury trials, crackdown on peaceful protests, taking away trans people’s rights.
Lambeth's new Green Leader Martin Abrams has announced an immediate pause to closing the Central Hill Dementia Day Centre.
The day centre does incredible work – we, including our new Gipsy Hill Green Councillors Pete and Chloe, supported Lambeth Unison's petition to keep the centre open
The new EHRC code of practice will exclude and harm our trans communities. Lambeth's Green councillors are calling on local MPs @helenhayes.bsky.social @bellribeiroaddy.bsky.social Steve Reed and Florence Eshalomi to oppose it, sign EDM 240 against it, and stand with Lambeth's trans residents.
If you need support, please get in touch with us or any of the below organisations.
In the by-election on 9th July, Steve Reed's really keen that Lambeth gives Labour another chance. I'm not so sure we should.
