Derek Pascarella (ateam)
(1/2) I'm looking for someone in the Tampa Bay area to service a Sharp CZ-614D monitor. It has image geometry issues which I believe can be fixed by replacing power supply and filter capacitors (and maybe yoke/convergence correction too).
Quick note about "leaving nothing on the table", Misty's converter actually handles some forms of subchannel-based copy protection. Mine doesn't (for now). Honestly such a thing is rare, and for the ways I see my tool being used, it's actually never seen at all (Dreamcast, Saturn, FM Towns, etc.).
(2/2) This old thread shows photos of my same issue, along with the recommended fix mentioned above: nfggames.com/forum2/index... If you or someone you know is able to service this unit, please get in touch! I do not trust myself attempting to work on this, and I'll pay handsomely🙂
