Last May 2025, the #WorkandPensionsCommittee published its report for the 'Safeguarding Vulnerable Claimants' inquiry. This was launched in response to serious concerns about #DWP's safeguarding practices in cases which involved the deaths of claimants. (1/3)

One of the issues raised most frequently with me is littering. It is unacceptable, and I am in close contact with @oldhamcouncil.bsky.social on this. If you see litter or fly tipping in your area, contact my office at [email protected] or 0161 624 4248 and we will raise it with the Council.
It is vital that the Health Bill gives local health economies the ability to decide for themselves whether or not they need to procure additional capacity from the private sector, to reduce health inequalities in access and outcomes as well ensuring consistent quality of care for patients. (2/2)
