This small bronze disc is one of the most iconic pieces of early Irish metalwork. It was dredged from the River Bann at Loughan Island, near Coleraine, in 1939. It is delicately decorated in the La Tène style, dating to the Late Bronze Age-Iron Age. You can see it on display in @ulstermuseum.org
