fwiw i suspect bass will win and might win easily. lots of justifiable anger over the fires, no doubt, & she's never had serious support in the valley, but the barriers for raman are much higher outside her current base of support.

The absolute absurdity of Anthropic putting out a policy document about stopping authoritarian AI while taking money from Abu Dhabi. "We believe that responsibility should rest with democratically elected governments, not authoritarian regimes" is an actual quote from that document.
