Withdrawal of the Trump administration's US 🇺🇸 from the UN climate process has big implications for the UNFCCC budget.
When it takes effect in Feb 2027:
⬇️ Core funding will fall by 21% – or €16.9m – in 2028-29
⬆️ Remaining countries would have to increase contributions 27% to make up the shortfall
