Major studio movies have fallen off imho. Because they're now driven by what an algorithm says, not by passions of artists anymore.
It's not the art style. It just feels like they're not trying. Not as cutting edge as they used to be. Lazily applying the same formula each time to a different object. I don't see movies that make me get excited much anymore, from any major studio. Less investment.
