I describe Hyve as transmasc nonbinary and attracted to masculinity. They were mainly inspired by the idea of the Rebis - an end product in alchemy, represented by a being with both male and female qualities. They were taking an alchemical symbol literally but Boils was like "Huh? Sure, go for it."

I'd call Aldiirn demi-homosexual and trans masc, but he would stick to gay & male b/c asexuality isnt well known and being trans isnt safe
