I moved to MN during the input stage. Anyone who says they didn’t know about it is living under a rock or revising history to justify an opinion. I was gobsmacked by how much it was covered and discussed. My first impressions of the state was “man, these people take their flags seriously”
using “water is life” to justify off leash dogs on sacred native land is so backwards, people have to learn their history instead of just using movement phrases for other circumstances

The culture wars are exceptionally dumb. We know this already. That they have made this into a cultural flashpoint is just further evidence of the shift from substative civics to reactionary politics. This is a symptom of society in decline.
