Awesome! This review provides a timely overview of the complexity of NTS. Molecular x Spatial Models. DBH+ neurons in the rostral NTS have been shown to be orexigenic [44, 47], while their caudal counterparts are anorexigenic [44]!!! Intersting!
Let's meet tomorrow at Cell Symposia: Neurometabolism in health and disease. I will present "Accumbal Neuropeptide Y Neurons Promote Reward Learning through Value Updating for Palatable Food" study!! cell-symposia.com/neurometabol...

Pleased to share our review on role of gut-brain in eating behaviour phases and 3 stages of obesity! Thank Will Lartigue for inviting me as a coauthor. And, I learned a lot from @drdanbrierley.bsky.social. Happy to discuss more about our new frameworks!! www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Excited to share our paper on Neuron. Chemogenetic activation of LH neurons in monkeys increased food motivation and naturalistic eating behaviors, mainly for palatable food. It's a translational follow-up of our rodent LH paper. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
What are the psychological components that regulate our behavior? We published a "PROBLEMS & PARADIGMS" paper proposing a theoretical framework. Our lab is conducting experiments to discover the neural substrates for each component. I hope you enjoy it! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...
