This one blew my mind…

Harpo Marx spoke at his final public performance in 1964.
And 60 years later, the tape was found.
If you've been a Marx Bros. fan your whole life, as I have, hearing Harpo speak is extraordinarily powerful.

Harpo Marx -- the "silent" Marx brother -- can finally be heard speaking in a live album of recently recovered material, which was recorded just six months before he died in 1964.
For the nighttime crowd. I’ve really been interested in fiction fragments as a way to explore a world lately. Ghosts of the Backlot might be turning into my own soap opera.
Installment two went live over on Piercing Pop Culture this morning.

I have been deep into episodes of The Gong Show on YouTube.

“Bachelor Number Three, Why are people falling in love with you?”
“Because of my association with another man.”
Karen Carlson and Robert Vaughn on The Dating Game (1966)
The audience tittering made the light innuendo so worth it 😂
I've spent the afternoon adjusting PPC and tweaking things and I must say... for the first time in a while, I'm excited how this is looking.

It seems the critics of the time did it really dirty.
Name your fav spy movie (that isn’t James Bond or Mission: Impossible).
A formative favorite. Technically, very little separates it from James Bond, but I digress.
Every so often, I come across a show that its disappearance just “sticks in my craw.” Though, as a TV nerd who quests for television oddities, it is not entirely uncommon...
