Go Team USA!
What an incredible way to kick off the first World Cup match in Los Angeles with a win for Team USA. 🇺🇸⚽
It was amazing to see the energy across our city as Angelenos came together to watch, celebrate, and cheer on the U.S. Men’s National Team.
Go Team USA! 🇺🇸
For the first time in 32 years, the U.S. Men's National Team will play a World Cup match on home soil, and Angelenos can cheer them on for free at Kick It In the Park watch parties across the city.
We're especially proud to see LA native Haji Wright representing Team USA on soccer's biggest stage.

I want to thank the U.S. Soccer Federation and Soccer Forward Foundation for investing in our young people and helping ensure the FIFA World Cup leaves a lasting legacy in communities across Los Angeles.
It's important to me that every Angeleno has the chance to experience the World Cup at no cost.
That's why we're hosting free Kick it in the Park watch parties across Los Angeles so families, friends, and neighbors can come together and cheer on their teams.
I’m focused on ensuring that Angelenos benefit from these once-in-a-generation sporting events like the FIFA World Cup in L.A. for generations to come.
