“For the most part. The goal was to keep the owl around longer. I’ll have to try more repetition seals next time”

Then it flies up to land atop his head
“Remarkable.. So that's how master Qifrey moves the water sculptures”
And the water owl melts back into water.

For what it's worth, he does stand still. Some part of him wants to encourage her, and the other simply doesn't see the harm in doing so.
