But also the combo of finding such a magnetic actor as Campbell and a director who isn’t afraid to go buckwild like Raimi is so rare we’re lucky to find that once every 20 years or so
If they said Bruce Almighty I’d be like eh I doubt that but maybe? But Evan almighty? Dogshit. No one remembers it. It wasn’t popular then it isn’t now. What is going on
Far right or left if you want to gain a media presence in this day and age your manager should be petitioning for CNN to do a hit piece on you they’re the biggest losers of all time
I read one of Campbells documentaries in highschool i think it was of Chins could kill and he made it sound like Army of Darkness was one of the worst experiences of his life
Nelly

Evan Almighty is #9 on HBOs popular movies right now and there is absolutely no way that’s true what the hell is going on
I’ve enjoyed both evil dead (2013) and evil dead rises (2023) but what I think separates both from the original two are that they treat themselves as possession movies when in comparison the first two are about a guy living through chaos after all his friends are killed in the first 20 min
That being said the two movies work really well as sequels. It’s a shame they came out ten years apart or else this probably could’ve made a decent franchise.
Fred Durst is in too many movies these days. We should’ve known war in the Middle East was inevitable.
EDR reminds me of the newest Hellraiser in that it’s like a decent movie but missing a core component of what makes the originals so great. Not as bad as whatever Blumhouse is putting out at least
