“it’s so nice to see socks on a baby! Parents just don’t put socks on their babies any more” …sir, where we live, babies who can’t walk do not *need* socks 9 months of the year. He’s only wearing them because a church outfit with long pants looks weird without socks.
I hope it subsides again soon 😞

I’m not certain I ever completed a summer reading program, because logging my books took time away from reading more books
Eventually, yes! He’s still a captain in Guards, Guards and most of Men at Arms (in which he gives the Boots Theory) and gets promoted at the end.
That might be worth a try! It’s not as big a deal in the summer, but for some reason, my winter skin is extremely susceptible to getting raw and cracking (and I don’t even live somewhere especially cold!!)

I don’t know firsthand, but I have seen how chronic illness can be such a 1-step-forward-5-steps-back situation. I’m so sorry.
