The Authors Guild are in partnership with an AI Licensing company. They're trying to funnel members to this company in the guise of 'earning more' from their books. But even if an author is paid for a 3 year licence, their books are in the meat grinder for good. There's no way to extract titles.

there were already many reasons to do this but Elon Musk actively encouraging racist violence in Belfast should be the final straw for every UK government institution to stop doing business - including being on X - with him in any way, and for him to be barred from entry to the country.
In Germany, Google is liable for false answers in its AI "overviews" that pop up at the top of search results. I wish we had this in the States. Make them pay for misleading users. the-decoder.com/landmark-ger...
