The music, the animation, the emotional beats in the story. It’s almost impossible not to immediately fall in love with Coco and Qifrey. I had high expectations after hearing about the hype but damn.
Side note as a dub watcher tho, I have no idea why Tetia sounds like…that?
I don’t like ragging on the performances of dub actors, but unless there’s a reason behind her voice choice, it’s a bafflingly awful performance. It’s distractingly bad in an anime filled with only positives so far…
