I love Orange. His match with Andrade El Idolo, last night was fantastic.
I feel unqualified to have an opinion. I don't read comics. My knowledge comes from the movies, so I think that disqualifies me.
When I look a the two sets of rogues galleries, I can see why these are the top two.
But honestly, I would feel like a poser for even having an opinion.
I can't help but to judge the characters based on the performances that the actors gave them. (which is not the topic)
So, for me...I lean toward Batman.
I love both Danny DeVito & Colin Farrell as The Penguin.
I like Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow.
& I really liked Paul Dano as The Riddler.
I remember when they made this argument on an episode of Comic Book Men.
FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF
was released in theaters
on this day, 40 years ago.
I watched FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF for the millionth time, last night.
As obvious as it seems now, last night's screening was the first time that I realized that the baseball that Ferris throws at his stereo at the end of the film to shut it off, is the foul ball that he caught at the game.
After reading this piece by @sanshinsoba.bsky.social, I watched FLOATING WEEDS & I'm happy that I did. It felt less like watching a movie & more like visiting this movie's world. An excellent choice for summer viewing.
(FLOATING WEEDS is on HBO Max)
