Not the right kind of weather to be monitoring a heat-loving, 3mm long jumping spider. No sign of Euophrys petrensis but its larger cousin Aelurillus v-insignitus did make a brief appearance.
What seems to be Xanthogramma stackelbergi, a hoverfly new to me and new to the UK in 2012. Seen in Essex earlier this week.
