Talk about it. With your friends, your family, your colleagues. About what's happening in Qld. About what's happening in Palestine. The more people who understand these laws for what they are, the harder they become to quietly normalise.
A statement on behalf of the Australian Cartoonists Association regarding James Hillier aka Nordacious and the QLD Government:
Outrageous that an artist in Australia, who makes a living from his creative output, can be threatened with arrest and imprisonment for using a phrase with - at best - contested meaning.
This is normal under authoritarian regimes.
Billions spent on imaginary submarines while at least 3.7 million people struggle under the poverty line in Australia.
If you canāt see why that is so fucked up then you need to take a good, hard look at yourself.
