By incredible kindness, @lotusprince.bsky.social (whom I'd originally sold my copy of SNES FFIII to about 10 years ago) still had it & simply offered to work out how to get it back now that finances improved. It's now back & the thing that made me weep was the sticky note that says ただいま (I'm home).

It came up in conversation today, so I was thinking about the time my heart was crushed when I needed to make rent many years ago & sold my in-box copy of Final Fantasy III (VI) on SNES that a friend had kindly gifted me, so as to not lose the roof over my head. Though pricey, I NEED to get it back.
