This bill is legitimately the thing we've been waiting for. Forcing AI to reveal it's sources would cripple it, because it literally can't comply with the law, because all of it is stolen- they didn't record it Please sign to hasten the bubble popping

1/ This company’s models were trained on web scraped datasets (like LAION) and their founders are ex-Stability AI employees who engage in the same thieving practices that led artists like myself to sue Stability. GenAi companies NEED big names to sanitize their exploitation and crippling PR.

There's a video game coming out which used generative AI to make assets but is also "protected by Denuvo" which is just such a perfect encapsulation of how intellectual property law works and who it is for
