Maine polls close in 1 minute and we shall see what happens. I predict, sadly, that Platner will get through as the D nominee and the next months will be hell for the Dem party. Never got around to doing a thread on the prep school world around Platner. Let's see if it's still needed.
All those pushing the argument that only Graham Platner can beat Susan Collins might consider this latest poll, which shows the candidate most likely to beat Collins is ... Janet Mills. Expecting those Bsky posters who've been, umm, emotional about electability, to now urge voting for Mills. Right?
Why are we acting surprised that the Trump administration is planning to dismantle NOAA's deep sea monitoring network? It was explicitly written in Project 2025 just like the rest of the environmental deregulation and destruction this administration is doing.
