Balanced budgets don’t exist. They’re literally right-wing propaganda.
There’s two types of budgets: surplus or deficit, and both are legitimate. A balanced budget is typically a heavily, heavily manipulated budget that’s designed to imply the need to cut heavily without painting a dire picture.
