Billed as connecting the Norman Town of New Ross to the Viking city of Waterford, the latest section of the along-awaited South East Greenway is due to open this month. The 7km section from Waterford City to Curraghmore has been "substantially complete for the last 12 months", but is awaiting the construction of car parks on both ends, and other elements.
