Volunteering at a 5k for my son’s school. Put up two banners, now waiting to point people to the finish line.
Simple enough, right? Last year they didn’t check the course mileage properly and I had to argue with the try-hards on why they had to turn in the direction I told them to rather than shooting straight for the finish line.
