Cole Caufield tied the game with 19.5 seconds left, then won it in OT as the Canadiens beat Nashville 3–2 at the Bell Centre. Oliver Kapanen also scored, and Lane Hutson added two assists. Jakub Dobes made 17 saves as Montreal extended its win streak to four.
