Wakaŋ Tipi Center in St. Paul opens its doors to visitors on Friday. The center is located at Wakaŋ Tipi, an Indigenous sacred site formerly known as Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary.
Here we show that during the MCO, at Nyakach Fm there were humid conditions supporting a tropical forest with grassy openings as evidenced by the phytolith assemblages and paleosol geochemical proxies. The ecosystem was predominatly C3 with limited C4 biomass!

Hey media: "epicenter" is used for earthquakes because their origins are subterranean: it's the closest point on the surface. It does not mean center of devastation. Don't magnify the horror of a deadly outbreak or civil unrest by calling it's origin an epicenter. These things are horrible enough.
