It has been 0: days since I last had an argument with AI generated content a coworker wrote.

Google pissed off Pine Island, and now the rural Minnesota community is punching back hard. racketmn.com/racketcast-e...
My son had to miss his last full week in kindergarten which included his little kindergarten graduation performance that he learned songs for.

idk how something that’s purportedly super contagious managed to dodge his 29 other classmates and only affected him 🤦🏻♂️
Well well well. Erin went ahead and got herself a substack. There’s some pretty interesting notes in there and interviews with residents about their experiences with data centers. (You don’t have to subscribe or use the app)

There’s nothing I love more than a coworker using AI to respond to my questions on a PR.
You think you’ve been mad before until you get “well actually’d” by an AI bot that has even less context and understanding of an issue than the dev that “authored” what is clearly AI generated code in the PR.
ffs I’m not going to have an argument with a computer to prove I’m right. It’ll take more time to give the damn thing all the context it needs to know why it’s wrong…something the dev in the PR should be learning from in the first place.
It’s 7:30pm, do you know where your potatoes are?
Gross alpha is bad.
The WHO recommends a screening guideline of 0.5 becquerels per liter (Bq/L) for gross alpha activity in drinking water. Because the WHO uses the metric SI unit (Becquerels) rather than picocuries (pCi), this translates to approximately 13.5 pCi/L. Much lower than our 18.0 pCi/L
re: AI bubble
Licensing costs for both individuals and enterprise customers skyrocketed in May and are projected to climb even higher in June.
Businesses that launched a new AI product or even worse, made it the cornerstone of their business model, will have to increase their prices as a result.

ffs I’ve been under the impression the Meta data center in Rosemount was only going to be 200 acres. Apparently 280 acres is the real number with a 715k sq/ft facility.
Evidently gov Walz has been offering these companies tax incentives to develop in MN.
