This track was constructed out of a number of different sections - a morricone Spaghetti Westernesque piece then a chopped up phone recording I made of a bunch of wine glasses in the sink, and then a sort of a space rock piece at the end.

Finished this drawing of the bull island/poolbeg chimneys
Another track off this album, originally created for a short film that @jigtime.bsky.social was looking to get off the ground at some stage circa 2012-13. I made this video in 2020, in the midst of Covid lockdown

"Across the threshold" - this was something that came out of just applying paint to very wet paper to see what images appeared to form
It ended up as an ethereal scene of a robed and crowned figure standing in a doorway as light streams in through the door and stained glass windows
This is another ink/pastel/colour pencil drawing, for a story about a boy that was always in trouble with his parents for playing with his food, til they realised how much fun it was and started themselves. And then they all starved to death because they played with their food instead of eating it
I have managed to get a big picture of Crass into the Financial Times magazine which is probably a first? Here is my Experts in a Dying Field-adjacent essay on bands as "utopian projects" www.ft.com/content/c902...

Wistful piece of guitar, trying to get across a feeling that all beauty and love is ephemeral, eventually turning to dust, disssolved and scattered by the wind, returning to the source to begin again, and being happy about that. Taken from this album

For some reason this track seems to be getting lots (by my standard) of plays on youtube. It's inspired by south american classical guitar music, and is a piece i was always fond of.
