If you're a farmer in Palisades, or a smokejumper in Glenwood Springs, or a rancher in Baca County, or someone in Denver or Aurora who needs food assistance, wouldn't you want the Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee to be from Colorado?

If the Dems take the Senate in Nov., Sen. Bennet is in line to Chair the powerful Senate Agriculture Comm by virtue of his 17 years of seniority. If he becomes Governor, Colorado loses that. I am surprised that Colorado news organizations have not explored the potential consequences for our State.
