Good people of Leeds, any recommendations for places showing the Scotland game tonight (2am KO) would be appreciated?
I’d seen this picture of John & Alice Coltrane in Nagasaki on a 1966 tour of Japan in black & white before but never in colour. I don’t know why but it’s kind of taken my breath away. The sign in the background translates to Atomic Bomb Hypocenter. Can’t find name of the photographer to credit 📷
Step into my orbit, pull up a collapsing star. 🙏
What a weekend @caughtbytheriver.bsky.social & the stunning, wildlife-rich otherworldliness of Elmley National Nature Reserve. Exciting, innovative writers & artists doing great things. Tripping over hares & lapwings & a stay (with Andrew Wasylyk band!) in historic, atmospheric Kingshill Farmhouse.
Hanna Tuulikki was on Nick Grimshaw's BBC 6 Music breakfast show this morning talking about Echo in the Dark 🦇 Lovely messages came in from listeners excited to go out bat detecting after hearing 'We Came Out'. Here's a clip from after the track played 👇 eitd.surfacepressure.net/we-came-out/

I went to see Super Furry Animals in Glasgow and wrote about it for The Guardian.

"We will all have our own idea of what a national radio station should be. But surely it wouldn't be too much to ask for a more substantial platform for the arts in Scotland year-round?"
Well said, @teddyjamieson.bsky.social
Just arrived the second pressing of @andrewwasylyk.bsky.social ‘Irreparable Parables’ white vinyl in a golden yellow sleeve. I’ll be taking these over to @state51.bsky.social tomorrow for shops and Greedbag. I’ll be working hard to get Bandcamp orders out ASAP.
We’ve just made Friday & Saturday day tickets available for our upcoming event at Elmley Nature Reserve. A few weekend tickets are also still available, with plenty of affordable off-site accommodation available nearby: www.caughtbytheriver.net/2026/05/caug...

Hi #musicsky peeps 👋
Now playing the record that sent me into Andrew Wasylyk’s orbit.
Hearing the water before seeing the falls | 2022
A gorgeous, immersive record that pulls your attention. At times orchestral, jazzy, ambient but always beautiful.
On Clay Pipe.

The Welsh band with a weird edge mostly let their formidable music speak for itself, lent a transcendent power by frontman Gruff Rhys’s rich voice
