At Schiphol, headed home from two excellent days at #cssday. I’m tired, my feet ache, and my throat is a little more scratchy than I’d like; but I’m leaving with a full heart and head full of odd ideas for things i want to try out.

(I’m curious to see the turnout figures once the count is done; but I suspect that were apathy a candidate, they’d be significantly ahead of anyone else)
Plus, of course, the joy of hanging out with other humans, discussing how we can make the web better for other humans. AI could never 💜

(I’ll admit that I’m worried about the outcomes + effects of this election cycle, but… gotta do my bit, and so should you. However intolerable you may find the various parties, I guarantee apathy will be even worse. Go vote!)

So apparently England has looked at what’s going on in the US and decided “yes, we want our country to be more like that”, and I can’t help suspecting Wales won’t be too far behind. Wonderful.
OK, so masonry-type designs may be a little bit old-fashioned these days, but CSS grid lanes looks like it could be an awesome tool for making digital art #cssday
