This is based on real, horrific crimes. It is a shockingly unserious movie.

Troubling reports out of England of 30 year-olds being socially transitioned into same-sex attraction without parental consent! One can only hope that the UK bans coming out as gay until a child is at least 35!

Eternally and perpetually fascinated with Steve Ditko's belief a comic should be considered in context of the other comics it's packaged with or published beside. It's not only that we often do not; some folks will act like you're the devil if you do.

We all have to keep saying that Brianna Ghey wasn't murdered by people from the internet or social media, but people from her local in-person life. She was killed by transphobes, not an app or platform. Politicians & media are going to erase that truth.
One of my favorite John Constantine romances. You know it's going to end poorly but you have no idea how bad.
Keith Giffen & Bilsquis Evely's Sugar and Spike is one of the rare "growed up" that works and a wonderful bait and switch that seems like cranky, jaded hating on the dumb old days and is really about embracing the nonsense that makes you happy.

It's always funny when it's Rainn Wilson — who I inevitably conflate with the guy exclaiming "Oooh NAVY Seals!" in Clerks — going on an "I guess I'm just too edgy and intellectual for today" trip.
Silver Star is such a moody bitter frustrated positive escape comic. Like nothing else and that's including the times it's been remade or relaunched or when Warren Ellis spent three or four minis covering it under other titles. Not one of Jack Kirby's most famous, but one that goes hardest.

De-stress. "Someday My Kiss Will Come"
