Me: Oh, its like that thing in improve where you say "yes but" Kid: No that's not right, you're supposed to say "yes and" Me: Yes, but I say "yes but"
Congress didn't bother to vote on declaring war, so I don't see why they think they have standing to veto our terms of surrender.
The Iran deal is fine. Iran opens the strait and America fucks off. We don't get to sanction Iran anymore, we don't get to keep their money frozen, and we have to pay restitution for what we destroyed. Seems fair to me.
Donald Trump's Secretary of Homeland Security sells gas station oxycontin.
A lot of the “kids online safety” proponents actually are anti-LGBTQ extremists and fundamentalists who want kids to have less freedom and don’t care if that actually makes them tremendously less safe too
I'm not a pro-ban person when it comes to substances but it remains beyond insane that 7-OH is being marketed and sold like it's 5 Hour Energy. This shit is not normal "kratom" and it's not an energy supplement. It's fucking Oxy and if you get addicted to it you will get dopesick.
Shitty behavior like this may be the reason that every gay MLB player remains closeted.
It's funny that Israel could have had normalized with Saudi and Indonesia if either Tel Aviv or Washington was even 25% more capable of rational behavior about Palestine or about anything. These countries were eager to normalize before 2023 but needed symbolic concessions and Israel still said no.
There isn’t any defense of gun ownership I don’t care what your identity or political leaning is. Guns are extremely rarely used in self defense and every harmful use of them including accidental injury/death is several times more likely than a defensive gun use.
Whenever people discuss the modern perils of disagreement framed as "people don't know how to be civil" I think about how civility is what got us to pogroms and concentration camps. It was "friends across the aisle" and lesser evil voting. It was letting bygones be bygones and trusting the process.
