Hi folks -- Next Monday (April 14) at 7pm, is the NYC launch of my new biography of Albert Barnes, at PowerHouse Arena in DUMBO. I'm especially pleased that the great Alexi Worth will be talking through the book with me! Come one come all! powerhouse-books.ticketleap.com/book-launch-...
gosh, Greg. You always manage to go so deep!
so happy to read this from @greg.org : “John Chamberlain’s foam sculptures are some of my favorite works of art in existence.” — couldn’t agree more. Chamberlain once said that his dealer “forbade” him from continuing to make them; collectors only wanted his crushed cars.
Very pleased and proud to say that my Albert Barnes biography, due out on March 18 from Ecco Books at HarperCollins, has already been named one of Town & Country's "Must-Read Books of Spring 2025." Couldn't have written it without the Barnes Foundation folks.
This @nytimes.com article explains a lot of our current, Trumpian problems, IMHO: we are a wildly rich nation, but the vast majority of Americans don’t profit from it: www.nytimes.com/2025/03/31/b...
