I'm working on a ~150-page adaptation of a single chapter of Moby-Dick. I got the idea last year as a submission for a comics mini-grant. Other worthies got the grant, but the idea gnawed at me, so I scripted and thumbnailed the thing and am 91 pages into a full-sized rough draft, sketches w color.
The Forgotten Divine tells the story of a space cult from the perspective of the people within the cult and, frankly, I feel like it's one of the best things I've ever written and it has amazing art by Russ Braun. The Kickstarter is live NOW.
