like... tales, trails, persona, etc are all games i play in both languages frequently so i have a pretty good muscle memory for both navigating the menus and for stuff like skills/attacks/etc even if i get lazy with stuff like quartz setups and make it harder for myself.

like obviously i can figure them out but sometimes i have to double take at just the sheer length difference. mid mag rf just feels much smaller than 中クラス魔法精製, but i also have not played this game in well over 15 years, so i have to slow down through the menus to figure out what i'm doing
def need to do this with ff7 at some point too though, because i really want to see the original script in full context compared to what the en is. that i can probably handle better too bc i played 7 more times than 8 over the course of 25 years lmao
