When you see people reason about AI and especially if they say we can't understand it or that it is a black box, remember: They likely have fallen for a variety of hype, don't know themselves how these models work (even tho we do) or don't know what "understanding" in science and engineering is. 1/2
I was at an event recently where this description of extremism was shared
"The Norwegian government defines violent extremism as movements or trends that, in their extreme consequences, threaten democracy, fundamental human rights, & public safety."
I pointed out this would cover the likes of Musk.
