BURGUM: When the sun goes down, solar produces zero electricity HUFFMAN: I want to enter into the record this amazing new technology that apparently the secretary is unaware of -- it's a battery
I wish someone would corner these chuds on "only when the sun shines or the wind blows." It's spectacularly embarrassing that the ENERGY secretary doesn't know how storage batteries work.

Hoping I am on the other side of this sentiment, at least some of the time.
Liddie 𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘭. used time-to-event statistical methods to analyse US community water systems (CWS). Their results suggest barriers to removal of high levels of emerging contaminants in drinking water may be greatest for small CWS and those serving historically marginalised communities. 2/3

If finalized, the proposal would end the Biden-era restritions for four toxic PFAS compounds and give utilities two more years to comply with limits on two other compounds.

Amazing when you work with scientists in other fields - in my case, usually statistics or chemistry fields - and you learn a completely *new* thing! ✨ the power of multidisciplinary collaboration ✨
