All this talk of discussions with russia being pushed by certain European leaders is just a charade intended for the Americans.
Those leaders aren’t that stupid: they know it would actually lead nowhere and there’s nothing to discuss.

The very idea that there could be talks, let's alone negotiations, with russia is a major strategic blunder.
Not only is it a dead end, but it also puts Europe's security at risk.
